IMPLEMENTATION READINESS CHECK

Build Readiness Score

Score whether a task has enough requirements, repository context, dependency clarity, testability, and risk coverage for implementation.

  • Uses your inputs in a transparent calculation
  • Instant result with practical next steps
  • No signup required

Planning guidance only. Validate important decisions with customer evidence and your delivery team.

How it works

1

Rate five readiness signals

Requirements and acceptance criteria receive the greatest weight, followed by context, dependencies, and risks.

2

Penalise unresolved questions

Each open question removes 2.5 points, capped at a 25-point penalty.

3

Fix the weakest dimension

The result identifies the lowest-rated input so clarification work stays focused.

Frequently asked questions

Does a high score guarantee correct code?

No. It indicates that the implementation brief is better prepared. Design quality, model behaviour, review, tests, and operational constraints still matter.

Why can unresolved questions reduce a strong score?

A well-written task can still hide decisions that block implementation or cause rework. The penalty keeps those decisions visible.

Who should provide the ratings?

Ideally the implementer and product owner rate the task independently, discuss gaps, and save the agreed evidence beside the task.
