Every design decision is entered alongside the evidence types and the count of supporting data points behind it.
Decisions backed by more evidence types and more data points score higher — a decision with three source types beats one with three mentions from a single source.
Any decision with zero listed evidence is flagged separately as an assumption, not a validated call, so it doesn't get silently treated as fact.
Enter 0 for evidence count and leave the evidence type blank or write "none" — Evidence Board will flag it clearly as an assumption rather than score it as validated.
Multiple independent sources agreeing is a much stronger signal than several data points from the same source, which could share the same bias.
Not automatically — it is a prompt to either gather more evidence before shipping widely, or consciously accept the decision as a reasoned bet.
As many as fit one project or redesign; for very large scopes, track evidence per feature area instead of the whole product at once.
