Does Journey Seed generate my journey map automatically from a product description?
No. Journey Seed assembles a four-stage journey map and validation score entirely from the concept and per-stage ratings you enter. It does not parse an existing product, run user research for you, or run a real AI/LLM generation step — it structures what you already know or suspect and flags where evidence is missing.
How is this different from the User Flow Mapper or SaaS User Flow Mapper?
Those tools map a single ordered sequence of screens from entry to success and score friction along that path. Journey Seed works at a higher level — the four broad journey stages (awareness, consideration, onboarding, usage) — and scores how much of your thinking about each stage is backed by real evidence versus assumption. Use Journey Seed early, before you have specific screens to map, to see which stages need user research first.
What counts as a "validated" assumption?
Real evidence: user interviews, a landing-page test, actual usage data, or a documented pilot — not just internal confidence. If the honest answer is "we believe this but haven't checked," mark it assumed, not validated.
Why only four stages?
Awareness, consideration, onboarding, and usage are the four moments where an MVP most commonly fails for reasons unrelated to the product itself — no one finds it, no one sees why they need it, new users get stuck, or no one comes back. Keeping it to four keeps the checklist usable in a few minutes rather than a full journey-mapping workshop.
What should I do with a low score?
Prioritize research on the stages marked "not yet defined" first, then convert "assumed" stages to "validated" through the cheapest test available — a few customer conversations often resolve awareness and consideration assumptions before you write any code.
