Solo, small business, mid-market, or enterprise sets a pricing multiplier; a competitor low/high range anchors the midpoint your Pro tier is priced against.
Mark every feature as nice-to-have, valuable, or core/must-have. That rating — not a random draw — decides which tier the feature is gated into.
Free, Pro, and Enterprise prices and feature lists are computed live, along with warnings when packaging looks unbalanced — too many features in Free, no Enterprise-exclusive differentiator, or too small a price gap.

Pro is priced from the midpoint of your competitor low/high range, scaled by a multiplier for your target segment (e.g. 0.7x for solo/indie, 2.8x for enterprise), then rounded to a typical SaaS price ending. Enterprise is set at roughly 3x Pro (2.2x for the enterprise segment itself, since the price gap is already large).
Nice-to-have features fill Free up to a segment-specific allowance (0 for enterprise, up to 2 for solo/SMB). Valuable and core features default into Pro. When you mark 4 or more features as core, the tool reserves roughly a third of them as Enterprise-exclusive to give the top tier real differentiation.
They flag common packaging mistakes: a Free tier with too many features (weak upgrade incentive), an Enterprise tier with nothing exclusive, no core features at all, or a Pro-to-Enterprise price gap under 1.5x. They are directional prompts to review, not hard rules.
The tool always outputs three tiers, but nothing stops you from treating Free as a time-limited trial instead of a permanent plan — for the enterprise segment specifically, the tool already suggests that.
No — treat the output as a starting hypothesis to validate with real prospects (for example a pricing page test or a handful of sales calls), not a number to publish without checking against your actual costs and margin targets.
No. Every input stays in your browser and the calculation runs entirely client-side — nothing is uploaded or stored.

Spreadsheet models require building the formulas yourself, and a general-purpose AI assistant gives a one-off suggestion without a repeatable, transparent rule set. MVPHub applies the same explicit gating and price-scaling logic every time you adjust an input.
