FREE RELEASE PLAN GENERATOR
A few numbers and a risk preference — we'll sequence your milestones from today into a 4-stage release plan: Internal Alpha, Closed Beta, Soft Launch, and General Availability, each with dates, an owner, and readiness gates.
Planning guidance only. Validate important decisions with customer evidence and your delivery team.
YOUR INPUTS

Larger feature counts add a small buffer to each validation stage.
Cautious gives longer validation windows; aggressive compresses the timeline.
Internal Alpha, Closed Beta, Soft Launch, and General Availability, each with dates.
Each stage lists who typically owns it and what must be true before moving on.
Continue learning:
Internal Alpha (your team tests it), Closed Beta (a small group of real target users), Soft Launch (a wider but still limited audience), and General Availability (full public launch).
Each stage has a base duration that depends on your risk tolerance (cautious tolerances get longer validation windows), plus a small buffer if you have a larger feature count. Stages are scheduled sequentially starting today.
Ownership is assigned by rule based on your team size and the nature of each stage — a solo founder owns everything, while larger teams see engineering, product, and growth roles assigned to the stages that fit them.
Use this plan to work backward — if the generated timeline runs past your target date, that is a signal to either narrow scope, add resourcing, or accept a more aggressive risk tolerance.
You can, but each stage exists to catch a different class of risk. Skipping Closed Beta, for example, means you find usability problems in front of a much larger, less forgiving audience.

Jira and Linear track sprints and issues once a release plan is underway. MVPHub calculates a starting phased plan and timeline from your scope and team inputs; it does not manage ongoing delivery work.
