Why weight votes instead of just counting them?
A show of hands treats a well-tested claim the same as a hunch. Weighting by reason keeps the loudest opinion from automatically winning over the best-supported one.
What if everyone votes "preference"?
The tool still ranks the options, but the outcome will be flagged as low-evidence — treat it as a reversible starting point, not a final answer.
