How is this different from the general Funnel Builder?
This tool uses SaaS-specific lifecycle stages — sign-up and activation rather than generic lead and activation steps — and adds monthly churn to project retained customers into the next month.
What counts as 'activated'?
Whatever your product defines as completing the key setup step that predicts long-term use — for example, connecting a data source or inviting a teammate. Use your own definition, not a generic one.
Why does churn apply only to paid customers?
Pre-paid churn (signup or trial drop-off) is already captured by the earlier conversion rates. Monthly churn here specifically measures how many paying customers are retained into the next billing cycle.
