No. Task Path computes the efficiency score entirely from the ideal and actual step counts you enter yourself — it does not analyze a live product and does not run any AI/LLM step.
Ask what the absolute minimum interaction would be if the task had zero unnecessary friction — often just 1-2 fewer steps than you'd expect, since even "ideal" flows usually need at least one confirmation for a consequential action.

Task Path instead compares the ideal-vs-actual step count for a single named task, to quantify exactly how much excess exists in that one flow. Any screen, action, or decision a user must complete before moving forward — a form field group, a confirmation dialog, and a redirect all count if the user has to do something at that point.
