Why do I have to tag the theme myself?
Reliable thematic grouping needs human judgment about meaning. The tool handles the counting, ranking, and coverage math once you have classified the raw notes.
What is pattern coverage?
The percentage of all observations that belong to a theme with enough repeats to be a real signal, based on the minimum cluster size you set.
How many observations do I need?
Ten to twenty tagged notes are usually enough to see early patterns. More observations make the clustering more reliable.
What should I do with one-off signals?
Keep watching them. A signal that repeats in your next few interviews may graduate into a confirmed pattern.
