How do I decide the urgency rating for each category?
Rate 1-10 based on how time-sensitive the issues are right now — a 10 means ignoring it today causes real damage (missed deliveries, stockouts), while a 1 means it can wait comfortably.
Why does issue count matter less than urgency in the score?
The formula uses a diminishing-returns effect on count so that a single highly urgent issue isn't drowned out by a large but low-urgency backlog — reflecting how operations teams generally triage in practice.
Can I add more than three issue categories?
This version covers delivery/dispatch, inventory/stock, and carrier/vendor as common daily categories. Fold any other issue type into the closest matching category for now.
Should I re-run this every day?
Yes — issue counts and urgency shift daily, so running it each morning gives the most useful prioritization for that day's work.
